How to help

Fundraising and donations are a lifeline to nearly all charities. We rely on the hard work and commitment of the local community to support the valuable work we do.

There are a number of ways you can help to fundraise, please see the link to fundraising or making a donation

Your time is just as valuable as any money you can donate. There are a range of voluntary positions within SNAP – some that help us with the routine but essential tasks such as helping make sure families receive a warm welcome and a newsletter from us, and some that will provide you with skills in working with disabled children and experience of very specialist support. And of course the fun volunteering – helping to organise a disco, sponsored run or cake bake!

For every £1 you give us, 90p goes towards the benefit of our children, young people and their families. We use the remaining 10p to raise funds for the future and manage our charity in the best way possible.

What really helped me was to discover that I was not alone and that there were many other parents/carers just like me, with one or more disabled children to care for.
